Further help

It is not only about money. We will help you cope with a new situation in life, too.

What else we help with

Compensation is not the end of it. An injury or long-term health complications bring a range of other problems that need not have anything to do with compensation for harm. Alongside the treatment, a person suddenly has to deal with their new situation in life and with the state support they may be entitled to.

Social benefits

After a serious injury, or with long-term health problems, you may be entitled to various social benefits and other forms of support. We will help you find out what you may be entitled to, what has to be documented and how to apply for each form of support.

Disability pension

If your state of health means that, over a long period, you cannot work to the extent you did before the injury, a disability pension may also be worth pursuing. We will help you find your way through the whole process and prepare you for each step.

Disability card

Depending on your health limitations, you may be able to use some of the benefits intended for people with disabilities. We will help you through the application for a disability card.

Guardianship

In some cases a serious injury or a long-term health limitation means that a person needs help from someone else in handling their affairs — from receiving post to applying for an identity card, arranging health care, concluding larger transactions or conducting litigation. Guardianship for that person may therefore need to be arranged. We will guide you through that process as well.

Doctors and other areas

Thanks to our extensive practical experience we can recommend doctors and other specialists worth turning to in your particular situation. It is not always easy to work out which examination is needed, which specialist to choose, or how to learn to function in a new situation in life — we can help with that too. We have many contacts and we vouch for them.
